Privacy Policy
Effective June 4, 2026
Renderyards is an AI-powered hardscape design tool operated by Axnomia LLC (“Renderyards,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at renderyards.com and to the Renderyards design widget that appears on the websites of contractors who use our service.
Important: The Renderyards widget is embedded on the websites of independent hardscape contractors. When you submit a project through the widget, you are asking us to deliver your request — including your contact details and project information — to the specific contractor whose website you used. That contractor is a separate business and is an independent controller of the information it receives. This policy covers Renderyards’s handling of your information; the contractor’s use of it is governed by that contractor’s own practices.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you use the Renderyards widget, we collect:
- Project photos — the photo of your yard, home exterior, or outdoor space that you upload so we can generate design concepts.
- Project details — the project type(s) you select, your stated budget range, and any free-text description or preferences you enter.
- Contact information — your name, email address, and phone number, which you provide when you choose to send your project to the contractor.
Information from contractors. If you are a contractor using Renderyards, we collect your business account and configuration details (business name, branding, contact and lead-delivery email, and portfolio images used to tune the design output).
Information collected automatically. Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and operations. The widget itself does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Information
- To generate AI design concepts from your uploaded photo and project details.
- To deliver your project request and contact details to the contractor whose widget you used, so they can follow up with you.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your request and to respond to inquiries.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI Processing of Your Photos
To create your design concepts, your uploaded photo and project details are processed by Google’s Gemini generative-AI service. We use Google’s paid API, under which Google does not use your content to train its models. The design images Renderyards produces are computer-generated concepts intended to illustrate possibilities — they are not architectural plans, are not guaranteed to be achievable, and any budget figure you see is an estimate, not a quote or a binding price.
4. How We Share Information
We share information in the following ways:
- With the contractor you chose. Submitting a lead sends your name, email, phone, project scope, budget, any preferences you wrote, and the design concepts you generated to that contractor. This is the core purpose of the service.
- With service providers who process data on our behalf, including: Google (Gemini AI image generation), Cloudflare (image storage and content delivery), Fly.io (application hosting), and Resend (delivering lead notification emails to contractors). These providers are authorized to use the information only to provide services to us.
- For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Renderyards, our users, or others.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing your submission with a contractor at your request may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under some state privacy laws; see Section 7 for your choices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your uploaded photos, generated designs, and project submissions for as long as needed to provide the service, support the contractor’s follow-up with you, and meet legal and operational requirements. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 7). Note that once your request has been delivered to a contractor, that contractor retains its own copy; you would need to contact the contractor directly regarding their records.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not upload photos or information you consider highly sensitive.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask us not to share it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law — such as the right to know what personal information we process, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. California residents (under the CCPA/CPRA) and residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights using the contact email above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Children’s Privacy
Renderyards is intended for homeowners and businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
